Doctoral Study Program

After finishing the master study program you can apply to the doctoral study at our department. Doctoral degree in the Computer Science study program is aimed at the following research areas:

  • programming theory and paradigms,
  • domain-specific languages and intelligent communication interfaces,
  • transformation and generative techniques in automated software production,
  • semantics of programming and modeling languages,
  • parallel and distributed programming, real-time systems,
  • software system analysis and design methods, tools and methodics,
  • computer graphics and systems of virtual reality,
  • agents technologies for distributed software systems design and implementation,
  • modeling and simulations of systems,
  • modern database and information technologies,
  • security of computer systems,
  • e-learning systems, intelligent learning systems,
  • computer networks and large network infrastructures,
  • monitoring, inspection and visualization of LAN and WAN topologies,
  • virtual communication infrastructures and their use in practice.

When applying to the doctoral degree study program, you need to select your thesis supervisor, according to their research interest areas and get an agreement on your thesis topic.
